A newly installed SCCM reporting services may end throwing up error
"The report server has encountered a configuration error. (rsServerConfigurationError)"
When we check Database tab in Reporting Services Configuration Manager most likely the Current Report Server Database and Current Report Server Database credentials may be blank as below;
If they are blank, the configuration step has missed and need to configure it.
Click on the Change database under Database tab then enter required configuration.
If everything entered correctly the step should complete without any error;
Now the Current Report Server Database and Current Report Server Database Credentials will reflect the configuration information.
Now launch the reporting services web url and it should work without any issue.
