Part 4: Microsoft Intune integration with SCCM
In order to manage mobile devices using SCCM, Microsoft Intune subscription need to be added to SCCM using SCCM console.
1. To add Intune subscription;
1.1 Go to Administration / Overview / Hierarchy in SCCM Console
1.2 Right click on Windows Intune Subscriptions and select Add Microsoft Intune Subscription
1.3 Click next on the Getting started page
1.4 On Microsoft Intune Subscription page, click on Sign in.
You will be prompted to agree Set the Mobile Device Management Authority.
Select the tick box then click on OK. This will open an Intune subscription sign in page.
1.5 Enter your Intune subscription login and password. Once the sign in is complete, click next
1.6 On General Configuration page, provide;
Collection name: <enter the collection name where you have created for your mobile users>
Company Name:
URL to company privacy documentation:
Color scheme:
Configuration Manager site code:
then click next
1.7 Enter company contact information as required then click next
1.8 Review all the settings on the summary page then click next
This will prompt a warning MSG to create a Microsoft Intune Connector Site System Role on the
site server. Click OK on the warning msg to close the window.
1.9 Click close on the Completion page.
We have successfully added Microsoft Intune subscription to SCCM.
2. To add Microsoft Intune Connector Site System Role;
2.1 In SCCM Console go to Administration / Overview / Site Configuration / Servers and Site System
Roles
2.2 Right click on the primary site server then click Add Site System Roles.
This will start Add Site System Roles Wizard
2.3 On the General page accept the default settings then click Next
2.4 On the Proxy page, accept the default settings then click Next
2.5 On the site system Role Selection page select Microsoft Intune Connector then click next
2.6 On the Summary Screen Review your configuration then click next
2.7 Wait for the wizard to finish then click Close
3. If all the steps configured correctly, Mobile Device management authority in Intune portal should
set to Configuration manager.
To verify Mobile Device management authority in Intune portal;
3.1 Login to Intune admin console (https://admin.manage.microsoft.com )
3.2 Go to Admin tab on the left side of the admin console then Admin / Administration Management /
