Error: IIS ASP.NET is not registered when installing the Application Catalog Website Point Role in Config Manager 2012

While setting up Application Catalog Website Point Role in Config Manager 2012 in our Dev environment, I have received the below error;

Error: IIS ASP.NET is not registered

Installation Failed. Error Code: 126

SMSPORTALWEBSetup.log shows following error;

Solution:

Navigate to "C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v.4.0.30319\” and run “aspnet_regiis.exe –i “

So the command is: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v.4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe –i

After restarting Config Manager Services, check SMSPORTALWEBSetup.log for updated status.The log should say as below;
