Some basic best SCCM 2012 software updates ADR best practices;
- Always use an existing software update group when you use an automatic deployment rule
- Always create a new software update group each time an automatic deployment rule runs, where the selection criteria generates huge number of updates (limit for deployment is 1000 updates)
- Limit the number of software updates to 1000 for each software update deployment
- If creating ADR for multiple Operating Systems, create 1 ADR if you have a good network speed
- If creating ADR for multiple Operating Systems, create multiple ADR's if you have a slower WAN

- For better control, always choose client local time for deployment schedules
- Cleanup the old ADR's leaving last 4 ADR's
