SCCM 2012 Cleanup migration data

When all objects are migrated to the new hierarchy, before start decommissioning old environment;
-          Validate that all clients are reporting to the new site and healthy and active
-          All the applicable data is available and accessible
-          Distribution Points are migrated to the new hierarchy and no longer required for the content
Once the validation completed successfully start post migration clean-up activities.
As part of cleanup activity, first step is stop the data gathering from the source site.

After stopping the data gathering, In the SCCM Console, go to Administration / Migration / Source Hierarchy\Administration\Overview\Migration then Right click on Migration then select Clean Up Migration data;

We will be prompted with Delete the migration history for a source hierarchy, Click OK

Click Yes on the deletion confirmation;

Once the clean-up migration is complete, there will not be any information available under the Migration node in SCCM console.
Now we can start cleaning up all the references to old SCCM environment in AD and Systems management container, followed by uninstalling site servers and roles then turning off the servers.
