Along with System Center Configuration Manager and System Center Endpoint Protection Technical Preview, System Center configuration Manager team also announced that release of System Center Configuration Manager 2012 R2 SP1 or System Center Configuration Manager 2012 SP2.
According to the Microsoft the key improvements are around;
Windows 10 support
App-V publishing performance
Scalability improvements
Content distribution improvements
Native support for SQL Server 2014
Hybrid features (mainly intune)
The visual changes Ii have noticed so far
- The colour of the Welcome Task sequence wizard
- Added nodes in Config Manager console
- All Corporate-owned Devices /iOS /Enrollment Profiles /Device Information
- Compliance Policies (For mobile devices)
- Conditional Access / Exchange Online / SharePoint Online / On-Premises Exchange
- Application Management Policies
- Message prompt when deploying a task sequence
