Unable to read task sequence configuration disk. For more information, please contact your system administrator or helpdesk operator.

SCCM task sequence will give  “Unable to read task sequence configuration disk. For more information, please contact your system administrator or helpdesk operator”  when booting into SCCM task sequence.

 

Resolution:

1.       Press F8 on the error msg. that will open a command prompt.

2.       In the command prompt type Diskpart

3.       Type List disk

        

4.       Then Select Disk 0 then clean

    

5.       This wipes of all the data from the selected disk

6.       Restart the machine and boot into the task sequence.
